A Walking Tour of Russian Cuisine

Where can you find the best Russian borscht, pirozhki, and caviar? Brookline and Brighton are home to several Russian restaurants, delis, bakeries, and markets. Join us for a three-hour walking tour around historic Washington Square, and for the opportunity to sample authentic Russian specialties. We'll visit treasured Russian food stores and restaurants including Babushka Deli and Vernissage, and discover hidden Russian foods on the menus at The Fireplace and Athan's. Along the way, we'll enjoy interesting personal stories about the owners of the various establishments we visited, and we'll also talk about the best Washington Square spots for entertainment, live music, and amazing food.
