WalkBoston Honors Gloucester with Golden Shoe Award

WalkBoston has recently awarded the city of Gloucester the Golden Shoe award for its efforts to make the city more pedestrian friendly.

Bluemont/ Bon Air Walkabout

Join Arlington County Board Chairman Walter Tejada and local residents for a guided walking
tour of this multi-faceted neighborhood. From verdant parkland to winding trails, blue-ribbon
schools to award-winning gardens, 1800’s farmhouse to 1900’s caboose, the Bluemont/Bon Air
Walkabout takes walkers on a 2.5 mile stroll through this centrally located Walk Friendly Community.
The route was developed by Bluemont/Bon Air residents who nominated their neighborhood
during WalkArlington’s Walk Friendly Community Walkabout campaign, launched
