Come celebrate Newton’s first annual Walk Bike Week, Friday, Sept. 28- Wednesday, Oct. 3,
and discover all the ways that Newton can be walked or biked, and see how we can improve our

many of Newton’s most walkable neighborhoods, and hundreds of volunteer hours.

Mystic River Watershed Association 40th Anniversary Celebration Committee

Join your friends and neighbors in an early morning cheer to the river and watershed – a resource that has brought so much enjoyment to our community. Meet us at 9:00AM on Saturday, September 8 at the parking lot beside the new dam between the Upper and Lower Mystic Lakes. Come by bike, boat, on foot or drive. Bring strollers and your dog - whatever usually brings you to the shores of this urban beauty. We have a full family-friendly schedule that will stretch from the dam to Alewife Brook as we plan to have artists and music along the banks for your morning enjoyment.
