Call-In Transportation Revenue Message

Our legislators are currently making decisions that will define what kind of
transportation system the Bay State will have for generations to come. Will we
as a Commonwealth make the necessary investments in our transit systems,
roads, bridges and sidewalks? Will we position our economy for the 21st
century? Or will we continue to “kick the can” on the issue and struggle with
broken down trains, potholes and crushing debt?

We want to make sure that Beacon Hill hears from the people of Massachusetts
that yes, we want them to invest significant new revenue in our transportation
system. We don’t want to be dealing with service cuts and funding crises every
year! We need roads and bridges that are safe to drive on, and bike paths and
sidewalks that improve our lives and communities. Let’s call them now and let
them know that we are willing to invest in our transportation system because it
benefits all of us.

Please make calls to your State Representative and Senator, as well as the
Speaker of the House and the Senate President:

House Speaker Robert DeLeo: 617-722-2500
Senate President Therese Murray: 617-722-1500
Central Line for Local Legislators: 617-722-2000
