Road Work Ahead: A public Forum

Thursday, December 6, 2012 - 8:00am to 10:30am
BSA Space 290 Congress Street Boston

The Boston Society of Architects and ArchitectureBoston magazine present Road Work Ahead, a public forum.

Join Governor Michael Dukakis and other special guests for a wide-ranging discussion on planning a sustainable transportation future for Greater Boston. This event is in association with Turn Signal, a commemorative issue of ArchitectureBoston magazine celebrating the 1972 culmination of the region's anti-highway movement and examining the transportation challenges of the next 40 years. A reception will follow.

Panelists will include Alan Altshuler, professor and former Massachusetts Secretary of Transportation; David Dixon FAIA, principal at Goody Clancy; Stephanie Pollack, associate director of the Dukakis Center at Northeastern University; and Stephen Crosby, chairman of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission and former aide to Governor Francis Sargent.

Space is limited; RSVP to with "Road Work 12/6" in the subject line.

Special thanks to the Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy and the Barr Foundation.
